Your stay at Broome Park hotel and lodges

You will stay at the Broome Park Hotel, located between Dover and Canterbury. The hotel consists of a striking house from 1638, located on a wide estate. The hotel has a restaurant (for breakfast and dinner), a tennis court, swimming pool and contains beautiful luxury hotel rooms. There are also lodges (holiday homes) on the property. The hotel is a 15-minute drive from Dover (where the ferry arrives from Calais).

    Hotel or lodge?

A woodland lodge has two bedrooms, with a double bed and two single beds. In addition, there is a sofa bed in the living room, so you can stay in these cottages with up to 6 people. You can also use all the facilities in the hotel.

The hotel is a beautiful 17th country house steeped in history. The most famous resident was Lord Kitchener, Minister of War at the time of WWI. In his time he was very well known. Before he became minister, he won battle after battle, including in Africa. Although his fame was great and he still enjoys fans today, he is now also known as a warrior who used cruel tactics. Before its time, the house was in the hands of a noble family for centuries. In WWII, the mansion was requisitioned by the Ministry of Defense and became the home base of a Canadian Regiment. In recent decades, it has been used as a hotel and golf resort. The hotel has different types of attractive rooms for 2 to 5 people. Some look out over the fields that belong to the estate.
