Since 2008 we, Mariska and Daan van der Sluis, have been making Halloween trips to England with our children. A world opened up for us. In English culture it is common to preserve the past, which is why in England the landscape looks almost medieval in many places.
The English also love stories and theatre. Around Halloween, this gives a golden combination: in the old landscape with castles and farmlands, exciting stories are told full of ghosts and creepy events from times gone by.

We also take you on an adventure: we organize nature excursions, of course with a spooky touch. Daan, an ecologist in daily life, knows everything about the area and the animals that live there, including those of the night. Mariska, trained as a historian, will tell you more about the myths and legends of the beautiful landscape while walking.
